BM|DESIGN|ER web based tool to explore / desgin / innovate

Hi everybody!

I have a special treat for you hubers. You might have seen my earlier work on creating a Business Model support tool (Alex seems to be a fan).

I am excited to announce that I finish a new version of my tool: bmdesigner.com

This time accessible for anyone! It is unveiled here for the first time as a world premiere ;-) .

Feel free to extensively test it and provide a lot of comments, feedback and bug reports.
I am hopping that this platform for sharing business models can help expand the reach of the Business Model Canvas and through sharing of ideas generate new innovations.

Check out the site: bmdesigner.com

Or explore for yourself!

I tryed your tool. Great job!
Boris,

Wow, this is really a good add, and a good experience! Tremendous job!
Hi Boris.

Thanks for providing us with the opportunity to use the BMdesigner. You've done a great job.

I look forward to seeing it develop and also seeing the applications that the many smart folks here identify for it.

Well done
Hi Boris,

First, congratulations for your Ph.D work.
Second, thank you for sharing such a useful tool.

I´m going to use it and give you feedback.

Best regards,
Claudio D´Ipolitto
Wow! Makes my day!

Have done a quickie on Building Dredging Vessels (you know my preference for old economy models...), trying to highlight the difference between the one and the other Biz Model in the same industry.
Interface: intuitive
Usefulness: quick, like the automatic saving of changes
Point for discussion: it is a bit difficult to choose exactly the right colours. eg. you want the bit that works in both versions to have a colour that is easily recognised as a mix of the two originals. That was not automatically obvious. Maybe you can help in making default colours for the first four (?) models a preset to coulours that "work"? I'll try a few more later this week.
Hi Boris,

Wow, it looks great. Going to have to get that Wii Whiteboard sorted out. Just
imagine using this on a 2m screen with hand writing recognition.

Regards,

Chris
Hi Boris,
Congratulations on doing a wonderful job in transposing the original Business Model Canvas to a "Web 2.0 Canvas!"

The BMDesigner application is more than I could have asked for. Right now, I'm exploring the BMDesigner. I'll provide you later with some feedback.

Best,
Rod.
