Recently i had the opportunity to become one of the sole agent in my country for the supply of building material or more specifically, tiles.

I went through all the process without realizing that how important the business model to me until now.

Any one willing to give me some advice on this?

HIstory has shown that members who post open ended requests for other members to do work for them rarely get any responses.

If you wish to get advice from the community, you best path would be to generate you own model for the the business, then post it on the hub and ask the community for input and reaction.

Thanks Mike for the advice.

I was thinking whether my agents from different division would be considered 'key partnerships' or 'channels'?

The simplest way to address that question is to look at who is helping whom. If the agents are helping you to do a job or solve a problem - then they are partners. If you are helping them to do a job or to solve a problem - they are clients.

The two situations are not mutually exclusive. In some cases when you are involved with a multi-sided platform, a segment might be a customer on one side of the platform and a resource  for another side. Think of gaming consoles. Game players are customers for the sale of the consoles. The same people are a resource of an installed base for the game creators.

Partnerships are built on the provision of resources, integration into the creation or delivery of the offer, or if part of the business is outsourced so they do work on your behalf. Again, the partners can be involved in providing a channel for your business. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Hope this helps.

Im not sure whether im doing it correctly. Maybe u guys can have a look. Thanks in advance.
