I've been working on a free tool that makes it easy to create and share business model canvases.

The template library includes templates for Business Model Canvas, the Personal Business Model Canvas (Business Model You), and Lean Canvas (for product development) from Ash Maurya.

You can edit any of these templates to create your own custom template. Using the "Help" option for the canvas building blocks means you can easily create a custom canvas for training, workshops etc. by adding details, questions and examples for each block.

I've added Help content to the Lean Canvas "CloudFire" example.

I'll be adding export ("data liberation") that will allow you to export a canvas to spreadsheet and printing (PDF).

Let me know what you think. All feedback welcome.

Based on request from BMG members who want to capture pivot points Business Model Fiddle now has snapshots.

Simply click the camera in the toolbar to take a snapshot of the current canvas. Once you have added snapshots you can step / add notes / delete them by entering snap view (Clicking the camera icon below the canvas with the snapshot count).

You can not edit a snapshot (items / notes) but all filter (favorite, color, search) and display options (canvas / list / print) work as per the main canvas.

Many thanks for the member feedback that helped with this addition.

Inspired by Dan Roam (Back of the Napkin / Blah) now you can think/share visually directly in Business Model Fiddle with the new drawing tool. You can also draw on top of previously uploaded photos/images. It even works on small screen mobile.

New templates are available for quadrant (SWOT - like all other templates you can edit for other  uses - personas etc.) and a single block "sheet" for brain storming.
