Developing patterns/rules for crowdsourcing and social marketing implications

Hi all,

I recently started to work with the business model canvas and will use it for my work as social marketing strategy consultant. I create a discussion base with my clients, from which I can develop ideas where social media and crowdsourcing might come in handy to change things, and what the implications of these changes are. It should also show the implications within other areas and the protection mechanisms and borderlines that have to be defined.

I want to develop a few patterns or rules for this kind of discussion. Did anybody already look into this subject and/or is interested in the discussion? I am rather new to the subject as such, which might limit things as well as giving it a new perspective...

Greetings

Oliver
