... where visionaries, game changers, and challengers discuss business models
We would like to offer customer trainings/seminars and we would like to make use of the canvas/methodology. Are there any restrictions which apply?
Thanks

I do not have the authority to speak on behalf of Alexander, but here is my understanding of the use of the Business Model Generation knowledge and tools.
Alexander has sent out the canvas under a creative commons licence. You are free to use the material with some very simple constraints:
In any use of the canvas you must acknowledge the originator of the material and it's source. So there should always be a credit to Alexander Osterwalder and reference to www.buinessmodelgeneration.com.
The licence, if I am not mistaken allows for building and adapting the work, but is a share-alike licence.
There is no 'designated' methodology, and each practitioner tends to use a number of tools in various integrations. However if you are following the logic of BM Generation, it would be required you acknowledge the source material.
Beyond that, both Alex and this community would be interested to hear (and see) how you are using the canvas and business models to support your clients.

As Mike mentioned it would be helpful if you'd share what you learn on the Hub.
Have fun with the workshops!

Permalink Reply by Lubna Taimeh on March 7, 2013 at 9:32am I've been doing trainings on BM for almost two years now after my masterclass in london in Jan2011 for Startups in the technology field.
Book and authors as mentioned above are introduced on the first slide and acknowledged through out the sessions and I developed canvas examples from local companies that relate to ICT and startups.
Let me know if you need anything :)
