... where visionaries, game changers, and challengers discuss business models
Hi!
I am currently involved in a project group to develop a business model for coworking spaces in our hometown.
We are still in a brainstorming phase so no concrete business model has been created yet.
I wanted to aks if anybody here has some experience with coworking spaces? Maybe one has established on him/herself or as there are many young entrepeneurs around here one may actually be or was in such a coworking environment? I'd like to know what are the key factors for a successful coworking space, which elements are primal to creating such a business model?
As far as my experience goes all coworking spaces I know in our area haven't been successfull either because the founders just started with it without a further planning phase and broke due to the costs involved or the coworking spaces weren't run professionally and people couldn't figure out how to run the place whithout pizza boxes lying everywhere and giving an impression of a dumping yard instead of a professional collective work space.
Or let it put me this way:
If you would rent a coworking space which criteria must be fulfilled to make you satisfied, what are your expectations?
Would be nice to gather some feedback here!
Thanks in advance!
