The Strategyzer team is doing research for a report into large and multi-national corporations that have adopted the business model canvas in their business development or entrepreneurship. We would like to talk with, and track companies around the globe, and would be particularly interested in companies outside Europe and North America.

Here are companies we have identified and work with so far:

Nestlé, 3M, MasterCard, IBM, Oracle, Intel, Siemens, GE, SAP, Telefonica, LEGO, Colgate-Palmolive, Syngenta, Medtronic, Fujitsu (Japan), Embraer (Brazil), Carvajal (Colombia), Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Michelin.

Companies we are working to confirm:

P&G, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Volkswagen

So, if you are willing, we would like to connect with you to discuss the work your company is doing and its use of the BMG tools. We will follow up with you from this discussion thread.

Hi Mike,

I've personally started introducing the BMC as an analysis and design tool in Gi Group, the company I work with, in mid 2011.

Gi Group operates in the B2B staffing and recruitment services. It is a private-owned, € 1.2b, 2,000 employees MNC based in Italy and spread over 19 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America, plus a few "key partnerships".

We currently use the BMC and VPC to analyse/conceptualize the existing business portfolio. We have specifically used them in designing new solution global models. The BMC and VPC are now part of our solution design and internationalization methodology.

We are clearly neither Coca Cola nor IBM, but, If this is somewhat close to your target, I would be pleased to connect on the subject.

Luca

Thank you for responding Luca. I will pass this along to Alexander and his team at Strategyzer. They will do the follow up directly.

Cheers, much appreciated

Michael

I have been using Strategyzer with SME in consulting with SME and would like to share the results

Thank you Arturo;

The research being done by the Strategyzer team is with large, multi-national corporations using the canvas. Does your experience fall in this category, and if so, with which corporation?

If it does not, then perhaps you could share your experiences with the community by writing a forum or blog entry for the Hub and seeking input from the members.

Cheers

Hi Mike,

Not sure if you are still looking, but I have just started using the BMC with one of the worlds leading airport retailers.

I am hosting my first workshop with them tomorrow so am still at an early stage but would be happy for anyone to get in touch should they wish.

Thanks,

Graeme

Graeme

Thank you for your post. I am not sure the case study team at Strategyzer is still looking for companies for their research.

If you would be so kind, please provide a few more details of the company with which you are working. If you prefer you can send the details directly to me (see below) and I will pass them along.

Would you be interested in testing the model on what we believe is a highly innovative solution from a startup to the US market?  I understand that the revenue is with the larger companies, but the value proposition we might provide would be of great interest for some large clients working in the software development industry. I have seen recently a large pharmaceutical company from the US looking for people to help them develop software development best practices using some of the best practices we have already incorporated in our solution.

Our promise is the delivery of enterprise level software quicker, better, cheaper for large companies making a huge amount of money in this sector. (but also has impact at multiple other levels! - education, consulting, new framework etc.)

Hi Alex

A couple of things to note:

The request was for established companies (large and multi-national) who are using the canvas within the context of developing innovation. This was not a request for start ups.

The request above was made in 2013. Unless there is a notable established company who wants to share information, this request is no longer relevant.

Thanks Mike for your reply. I just joined and should have checked the dates.

Cheers.
