Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
the "business model" is the DNA of the business organization ecosystem and "business model innovation" is the capacity of that DNA to be opportunistic, grow, thrive and eventually secure a place in the business ecosystem and as importantly, adapt to change successfully, both positive and negative within that business ecosystem.

WE have decided to not have a web presence for our current project at this point.
We work on our own projects.The framework is, environmental and ethical.The criteria for initial consideration of a project is that it must appear to be "impossible" at the outset.
What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?
data acquisition, private project early stage development.

"Business Model Generation" is invaluable, thank you for bringing it into the world.That said, consider this...For the past 15 yrs.I have been going to SFU library and high grading the best of newly released books on Commerce/Business. I commonly have 30 -40 books from the university library on my bookcase for personal education and project work..Business Model Generation is not alone in contributing to my education, however, it is particularly unique as you attest in your forward...I noted the book when it first came out but put off buying it in the belief that more would be written on the subject...that was a year ago...now that we are at the modelling stage, I could not be more comforted that we have Business Model Generation we tie the two projects in front of us...thanks, again for your creative approach to developing and writing BMG, to your capable co-creators and your "dead-on" design team...adb

To this point I have invited a working partner to join the  'Business Model Generation' group. I am meeting with him tomorrow morning, part of the agenda will be about growing more members to BMG from our first, second and third tier contacts...I believe that if we plan and execute this process properly we will be successful in, not only, influencing candidates to join but also to learn, test and succeed at the use of the tools and contribute and benefit from new relationships arising from within this community. 

Having said that, our central mandate is " Those Who Propose...DO ! "

In other words, as we actually start the process of using BMG and contributing back our real world outcomes, we will become more credible advocates for the many benefits that we will be in a position to attest to regarding our entire experience in moving our project(s) forward more effectively. adb
