Videos relevant for Business Model Innovation

Posted on October 24, 2009 at 9:11am 0 Comments

At the center of both the destruction and creation of new business models is the World Wide Web. At the Web 2.0 Summit, held in San Francisco October 20-22, leading companies shared their views on business models and what is next on the horizon. I have collected the different videos from YouTube and presentations from Slideshare, and Web2Summit and put it on The Business Model Database blog:…

Tools for Business Model Innovation

Posted on March 14, 2009 at 5:02pm 16 Comments

What approaches and tools do you use to identify business model innovation opportunities? Is everyone using post-its, visualizations and brainstorm sessions, or does anyone use another approach?

Hi Anders
I'm currently writing my Master thesis on "data centric business models" and conducting a short 5-10 minutes online survey http://bit.ly/b27gF . I would be thrilled if you are able to participate.
Furthermore I browsed through your blog and I noticed that you are very passionate about business models. So it would be great if you can give some feedback on my approach bit.ly/cwLM5, the information value chain and have some time for a quick skype/phone chat on the topic?
I would be really appreciating that.
Cheers & thanks Lukas

Hi Anders,

Thank you for the message left on my wall. I am indeed with ISO. With regards to the financing of the whole standardization system in place, this is actually quite complex in particular in view of the number of players involved, their level of involvment, and the various status and activities of each members of ISO. We could have some further exchanges on this even if I am quite busy at the moment. Kind regards, Nicolas

Hej Anders, kul att se dig här. Jag gillar projektet, framförallt att se hur det kommer att komma ut på andra änden. Har kanske inte varit så aktiv som jag hade hoppas på att vara dock.
