Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?

I think idea is great and it helped me to develop our climate change adaptation business plan.

It doesn't get bogged down in abstract terms and the real life examples show that this can be applied to most companies. I know that a number of my colleagues use this approach in their units

Who do you work for? What do you do?

I work for a Dutch/German/UK based environmental consultancy call Ecofys. We work for public sectors clients, decision makers, international organisations and corporates all over the world.

My area of speciality is climate change adaptation - a niche area of the consultancy world that is not necessarily catered for in a lot of consultancies.

I specialise in interpreting climate science and trying to make the impacts of climate change 'real' for businesses and sectors. I carry out climate risk assessments, develop projects and carry out analysis related to adapting to climate change.
