Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
As an investor I use tools of business model canvass to analyze companies as potential investments. With the business model canvas & other tools I am able to see beyond the numbers and discern how strong, weak or innovative companies really are.
As a consultant I am constantly reading, making and using models to obtain strategically significant results for my clients.
How would you best describe your level of expertise when it comes to business models?
I work for myself. I consult on strategy and sometimes build digital products. Mainly I invest in publicly traded companies.
What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?
What is the size of the organization you work for?
Do you want to add anything? Feel free. Any topic.
My colleague Julian Loren introduced me to the book "Business Model Generation" before it was published and I have been to several workshops where Julian Loren and Alexander Osterwalder have been facilitating.
