Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
At its simplest, I believe that the process of an organization is just as important as the results it may achieve. The process and continual growth of a company's culture, people, and ability to adapt/pivot often depend on the type of core structure of the business itself.
I'm merely here to learn how other likeminded people, and/or organizations, view the aforementioned topics.
Ideally I'd like to start and sell businesses as soon as possible. Hopefully this community will help with some of the growing pains I face in the near future.
Additionally, I'd like to help others in similar positions once having some more practical experience.
In other words, my mission is to learn as much as I can, apply it to real life businesses, and then help people with similar goals and values.
Let's grow together! :)
How would you best describe your level of expertise when it comes to business models?
Well... I just graduated with a business degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and plan to move to Austin, Texas to join the startup/entrepreneurial community there.
I affiliate with a few non-profits that are in their beginning phases of development, as well.
What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?
Financial Services, Real Estate
What is the size of the organization you work for?
freelance/independant, 1-10, 11-100, 10'000+
Do you want to add anything? Feel free. Any topic.
The only thing I would like to add is that I look forward to creating strong, long-lasting relationships who share the passion for the various business processes; especially the creating and building processes.
I hope anyone and everyone who takes the time to read this has an amazing morning/day/evening!
Thank you for your time!
