Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?: I'm a serial entrepreneur with a decade of experience in applying design thinking to business problems. I'm in the midst of launching a new business that I hope will change the world (in some small way, at a mimimum) :).

How would you best describe your level of expertise when it comes to business models?: knowledgeable

Who do you work for? What do you do?: I work for myself. For most of the past ten years, I've been working in DesignShop facilitation, which is a large group collaborative design process. At present, I'm running a Toronto-based boutique consultancy selling DesignShops and other facilitation services.

I'm in the midst of assembling a team to work with me on a new dimension of my business that will eventually be far more important than the current focus.

What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?: Financial services, voluntary/non-profit, professional services, technology start-up, software development
