Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?

i saw my last employer fail in listening my colleagues' and my pleas to listen to us and our new business model proposals. today my ex employer has lost almost 80% in market value and is withering away. i want to learn how to express and communicate new business model innovation in order to convince people when they truly need it.
