- I have spent the last 10 years involved in technology start-ups, where much interesting business model innovation has been happening. More recently, I have been working on (software-based) operational modeling of businesses for risk assessment and mitigation, a topic that links directly into business models in the sense of this site.

What do you do? I just joined this and I am in Newton MA. I am advising the Philadelphia University on the creation of a new college focused on innovation that brings together design, engineering, and business. This new school will consider technology, product, service, and business model innovation. I am teaching a business model course there this summer for designers interested in business. I have degrees in industrial design and business so the intersection is of interest. I look forward to learning from the site and saw you are local. Heather
