Although there are several variations on empathy mapping, this holistic approach worked well in a 2-day workshop last week. The template pretty much sums up the lenses into the customer segment.Subtle change is that the customer is facing west; in a large room setup, this allows them to be oriented facing into the canvas, and not "turning their backs" to the BMC.
