Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?

Distilling anything down to its essence is a life time pursuit of the greatest artists, business owners, chefs, teachers, scientists, sports, religion, etc.
I think business models help us in that quest.
I think a big part of this drive to distilling things to their essence is for our understanding, but also for the understanding of the masses. All the great leaders and innovators in life have brought us all to a greater point of understanding from this process.

I work for myself and for many clients as a consultant.
I help create leverage and growth in business that provides more cash flow (the life blood of any business).
I love creating things from scratch or modifying models that change companies and often industries.

How business works and flows has always been a passionate of mine. Being able to find the patterns in the market and adjusting a business to leverage those patterns and trends is especially fun. If I am not out mtn biking, surfing, or playing with my boys I have business on my brain 24/7.
