Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
Business models fill in a clear gap in the strategy literature and toolbox and are very helpful for managers and entrepreneurs in practice. At the same time, the business model concept still requires extensive study and attention from an academic perspective. This tension between practical relevance on the one side and (lack of?) academic rigor on the other side excites me.
