Profile Information

Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
I built a successful web software business more by luck than design. The innovation landscape has changed dramatically and requires a structured approach that is fast, collaborative and efficient. Innovating at the model as opposed to product/service level are vital for success.
How would you best describe your level of expertise when it comes to business models?
some knowledge
What's your URL?
http://orbital.co.nz
Who do you work for? What do you do?
Self employed. Enjoy helping small businesses develop web strategies and web based solutions. Experienced web application developer currently working mainly on distributed web applications (REST APIs) with rich clients (HTML5) that work on desktop and mobile devices.
What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?
small business, manufacturing, retail, services
What is the size of the organization you work for?
1-10
Do you want to add anything? Feel free. Any topic.
I have enduring business and personal relationships in Japan that started with my original product. Sadly Japan has languished for 20+ years and really needs to innovate. I see this is a great opportunity to work with my Japanese partners to move their businesses and Japan forward.
