Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
After a long career with one of the largest professional services firm, I felt a desire to help small and medium enterprises. And the first thing I learnt was the inability of many small entrepreneurs to explain succinctly their business model. I passionately feel that helping them through this would greatly help these small entrepreneurs.
How would you best describe your level of expertise when it comes to business models?
I work for SmartKapital, a consulting firm that I founded with some like minded friends with a view of helping small companies with "money, AND MORE", and in "bringing India to the world, and the world to India".
What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?
What is the size of the organization you work for?
Do you want to add anything? Feel free. Any topic.
I think the approach articulated in this book could really help small Indian entrepreneurs, some of whom have very good ideas but a at a loss to articulate their business model to advisors like us, and worse to potential investors. We applied it to our own start-up and was amazed by the insights that emerged.
