Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?

I work for the family business and will soon be purchasing the company. I see that there will need to be changes made to the way we do business if we are going to survive in the new economy. Better understanding business models will help me redesign the structure of the company and help insure it's profitability and survival.

Hawks Hollow Builders. I am the President.
We are a custom home builder, remodeler and custom cabinetry shop. I am sales, customer contact, business designer, estimator, oversee job site foremen, and office manager.
