Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?

For years I have had a passion for entrepreneurship, resulting in reading a lot about the topic. A few years ago I decided to do a Masters in Entrepreneurship at the Rotterdam School of Management and chose the topic Business Model Innovation in knowledge intensive firms for my thesis. I enjoyed researching the topic and was happy to receive an award for it. I enjoy keeping up to date with all developments on business model theories and practices.

Who do you work for? What do you do?

I am co-owner of an internet based firm connecting freelance professionals to new projects.

As in the past I was a business advisor for start-ups, as a "side project" I regularly assist solo and small business owners with creating, renewing and implementing their business model.
