Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?

This is the 'what' part of the doing business equation that has starkly been missing in the 'industrial economy' scheme of things. Innovation has always been confused with R&D activity where you incrementally improve 'material' products. The Internet economy needs innovation quicker and better than ever before and new business models have to be invented 'on the fly' and spontaneously. I believe this group can show the way forward.

Wannabe social entrepreneur focusing on those interfaces that provide true value to end users. Usability is not a buzzword, it's a real need. Have been an entrepreneur multiple times. Currently heading Ideafarms, a company I founded in 2002 that focuses on creating rapid proofs of concept that are almost like the real thing.
