Why are you passionate about business models and business model innovation?
I am participating in start-up situations in Australia and frequently use Alex's splendid framework to discuss and devise new or amended business models in the industries we are serving.
How would you best describe your level of expertise when it comes to business models?
What industry do you mainly work in (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, public sector, academia, pharma...)?
Financial Services, business services, government
What is the size of the organization you work for?
11-100
Do you want to add anything? Feel free. Any topic.
Our main practice area as Business&Technology consultants is Business Process Management. Currently I am highly interested in expanding business executive's experience with / view on BPM and not just leave it to experts (BAs, BPXs), which is frequently the case.

I thought I would take this converstation off-line. Thank you for the invitation, much appreciated.
Unfortunately I don't get down to that part of the world very often. I happened to be on a vaction in NZ and took the opportuntiy to meet with some 60 BAs in Auckland to talk about the Ottawa, Canada chapter of the IIBA. I described the work I had been doing to develop a approach to describing, analyzing and innovating businesses through business models.
I work for the Government of Canada and don't get support for travel. But, I am seeking permission from my bosses to share the work I have been doing in the business model area, with Alex's support, for the GC in this forum and across the IIIBA. If I get that can share the content if not actually be present to make the presentation.
Inside the IIBA I am somewhat of an anomoly in that all my work is essentially in the Enterprise Analysis area. I am currently helping the department build innovation around a to-be business model witha 5-7 year time frame. What I am hoping to do is create some buzz within the IIBA to extend the Enterprise Analysis knowledge area to include business models.
