Great ideas & support 4 Knowledge Fair Amsterdam! (59 days to go)

Amazing is the response I got from people personally about the Knowledge Fair Event in Amsterdam. So great from all of you! Thanks! As we like the Fair to be a knowledge sharing and networking event on business modeling for and by the Hub your help is more than welcome.

I asked what people would like to see and do. Here a short overview:

Concrete case studies. Many people (ao Remo Knops, Thierry Isck) are interested in cases/ companies where the methodology is applied. Not as a proof that the model works but more in understanding what you will face if you start doing this projects. What is the approach? What are lessons learned? For the event we work on sessions with DSM (Bas van Oosterhout is working on that) and Seats2Meet (Ronald vd Hoff is working on that).

KPI's. An idea from Karten Willrodt. The more heavy users of the model are interested in a control framework. Eg. that you could make a check at the moment you start a new business model and that you are able to control it with a small set of data. -> on the event we could run a session on that. Someone in the Hub who would like to do brainstorming on that?

Business model vs business plan. The business model approach seems more efficient than the business plan. What are the differences? What are the benefits over the business plan? Can we defeat the business plan? -> we could run a separate session on the Event. Maybe a combination with other topics?

Projects after the book and event... People (a.o. Adriaan Kik) are interested what happens after the 19th? After the book launch. What is our vision on that, what to expect and how can people contribute to that...

Role of innovation. What is the role of innovation by using the model? Is it proven to be a succesful tool? -> it feels this comes from people who have less experience...

Interaction. Wouter Verwer came up with a tool where we can interact with SMS and the screen. We will explore that.

Networking... of course...

Let me know if I am missing something or that you want to contribute...

Today we had a meeting with Alex, Alan and Yves and we made the final program for the 19th! Very exciting. We have already 20 people signed up from different countries and some from outside the Hub. I will put the program on the Hub on Friday 1st of May....
