I have a clear idea of my business model. My issue is how to translate that into tools to communicate with potential customers?

I am not quite sure what it is you are asking about here.
If you have developed a clear understanding of your business model, then the interface with your customers would be defined within the customer relationship (CRM) component and the channels (CH).
The CRM component would lay out the type of relationships you want to manage with your target customers and the strategies you want to use to acquire, retain, and develop your customer base. The CH components identify the specific mechanisms you want to use to communicate and transact business with your customers.
Beyond that you are dealing with implementation issues and not strategy issues. The business model is a blue print for your business strategy.
