Vishwa, it's great that you are pitching your idea. That's what co-creation is all about. Of course there is only a limited number of concepts that we can explore. Alan is working on a few.

It's fun to see all the energy that is mobilized for this cover design!

Alex,

Small clarification from my side. I did not mean the cover but the 'inside' cover (the spread available when you open the cover and likewise the last spread before you close the book). You get the whole spread

Nevetherless, thanks for considering the idea ... and your quick response.

Alex can you post the pictures in the background, may be hubbers can recomend which are the good story telling pictures. Like for example, iteration III the figure on the middle right corner is good, iteration V the bottom middle table fugure is good, and many such. But is there any way we can arrange them like a BM IDEA to its IMPLEMENTATION. May be we can take a good BM case study or Theme and picture the whole process on the cover page. Similar to the one I have posted above and one below (may be I am pitching my idea too much, I promise this will be my last ;-)).

Sunil, thanks for these ideas.

I think your concept is interesting, though difficult/costly to implement. Not that this should prevent us from doing it. However, given the delay we already have, I prefer sticking to doing something simple with those photos we got to date (we currently have 65+ from 470). It is also likely that not all photos will be visible in the same way (e.g. hidden by titles, on back cover, etc.). Adding names and countries to each photo risks adding too much info to the cover page. I think the page with the names is the best way to show who participate in the project.

I love Iteration VI. I like the title in the centre. Would suggest a coloured background for the title instead of 'black' since black has negative connotations in the Asian (read Indian) contexts. It could be any deep colour.

Combining the photo-collage idea that Alan's working on - how about doing the collage of the 470 + 2 photos running across the inside cover and page 1 and then continuing similarly through the spread on the inside back cover pages. That would give us space to have all the pictures - if possible with a name and country - to give fuller credibility that we have actual collaborators. In this case you wouldn't have to add the couple odd pages for listing the other 'authors'.

What do you think?

I completely agree with earleir Comment by Jille Sol. There are a lot of good little stories in all the 7 iterations (except the 1st one) and if all these are put together as a proper work flow of a Business Model Generation IDEA to FINISH it will be very catchy on the book shelf. If you could design the cover bringing these little stories of the BMG in the two pages of front and back combined it would be great attraction in the 1st look. I am just posting the picture I referred for others to see as well.

I like it very much.... It conveys the message in a simple though communicative image...

I like IV because it has easy reading elements in a balance that makes sense to me

Or perhaps in B&W on white background with a splash of red to make it stand out on the shelf? I'll stop after this one (promise) :)
